Municipal Solid Waste Sorting Machine
This complete municipal solid waste (MSW) utilization solution adheres to the principles of reduction, harmlessness, recycling and energy recovery, integrating waste into a full-line system for comprehensive resource utilization. Through automatic sorting, MSW is classified into recyclable metals and high-calorific-value (up to 5,000 kcal) fuels applicable to industrial boilers, waste incineration and gasification power stations.

  • Chain feeder: Feed the materials uniformly for a smooth process. Compatible with forklift loading.
  • Bag breaking system: Features internal blades to break bags without shredding the contents.
  • Trommel screen: Sorts materials by size with customizable screen apertures (3-7cm).
  • Iron separator: Extracts magnetic materials such as iron.
  • Air sorting machine: Utilizes positive and negative pressure with an adjustable volume; sorting rate reaches 95%.
  • Manual sorting table: For manual recovery of useful materials or robotic arm integration.
  • Baling machine: Compresses combustible materials into blocks for further processing.

Raw waste is transferred via grab bucket to a feeder and then to a 50mm drum screener. It is split into undersize (<50mm, organic) and oversize (>50mm, plastics/stones) fractions. After magnetic separation, undersize residues go to temporary storage, while oversize materials enter an air separator. Heavy materials are manually sorted into combustibles (plastics/textiles) and non-combustibles (stones for bricks/roadbeds). Light materials are baled for packaging.
